We want you to be completely happy with your purchase from Coedlan Wood. Each piece is carefully crafted and checked before leaving our workshop, but if something isn’t quite right, this policy explains how we handle returns and refunds.
Returns
You may return your item(s) within 14 days of delivery if you change your mind.
Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resellable condition.
Please note: return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or damaged. Because our products are heavy and costly to ship, we’re unable to offer free returns for change-of-mind orders.
Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or has a fault:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue.
We’ll arrange either a replacement or a full refund.
In these cases, we will cover all return shipping costs.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll process your refund within 7 working days.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Shipping costs (from your original order) are non-refundable unless the item was faulty.
Non-Returnable Items
Custom or personalised orders cannot be returned unless faulty.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
How to Arrange a Return
To start a return, please complete our contact form with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you’d like to return
- The reason for the return
- We’ll then provide instructions for sending your item back safely.
This way, you’re:
Protecting yourself from high shipping costs (customers pay for change-of-mind returns).
Still being fair and reassuring (you cover costs if it’s your fault: damaged/faulty goods).
Staying legally compliant with UK consumer law (you must allow returns for online purchases within 14 days, but you can make customers pay the return postage).
